Another option is also available: if for any reason you cannot call the helpline, you need to find the nearest clinic yourself and pay for medical services. Wiener will reimburse the costs as long as you obtain medical documentation and receipts.

Is Wiener insurance suitable for obtaining a residence card (karta pobytu)?

Yes, if you choose an insurance amount of at least €30,000. It is important that the insurance remains valid throughout the residence card application process and for at least three months after the decision is issued. For reliability, we recommend purchasing annual insurance. If the insurance expires during the process, you will need to purchase a new policy and submit it to the government office handling your case.
